Our Story

SNUG BUD® was conceived at a dinner party in answer to the often asked question, “what is the one thing you really want..?”. One guest’s answer really stuck in my mind; to much laughter she wished for a wearable hot water bottle.

And so began over five years of research, planning, design, prototypes, testing - together with our delight in seeing people try on this strange new thing, and become instant converts.

SNUG BUD®s have been tested on the freezing banks of Alaskan rivers, on the icy slopes of …. , at Everest base camp, on the sidelines of various winter sports fields - and, importantly, on many a comfy couch in front of a TV.
